Learning Strategies Program

The Academy at King Edward is a district strategies site that focuses on programming for students with learning disabilities.

All students at the Academy will achieve a minimum of one year’s growth in Language Arts and Math and meet the goals on their IPP. In addition, all Academy students will develop skills and strategies that enable them to complete their schooling, feel successful as learners and become effective problem solvers.

All staff will demonstrate a commitment to the Academy program and our Instructional Focus through the application of school wide plans, strategies, and expectations.

Parents, district schools, and the community recognize The Academy at King Edward as an exemplary program for Learning Strategies students.
